Machame Route, 7 Days
The Machame route (the "Whiskey route") is the most popular path up Kilimanjaro, chosen by roughly half of all climbers for its scenery and variety of habitats. It has steeper trails and longer days than Marangu, with tent camping rather than huts.
Lemosho Route, 8 Days
The Lemosho route is Jaribu's most scenic traverse, approaching from the remote western side across the Shira Plateau with fewer trekkers and excellent acclimatisation. The extra day over 7-day routes is directly linked to a higher summit success rate.
